Do lacrosse sticks need buts to play in games, or can you tape it?
Answer Tape is ok. Just make sure you cover the metal end well.
From the rule book: Note 2: All hollow crosse handles must have their open end adequately covered with plastic, rubber or tape to prevent injury. The use of metal caps (e.g., bottle caps) is prohibited.
