YES! LAX in Little Rock
by: Oliver

There is lacrosse in Little Rock, but it is still in it's early stages.
From age 6 to adult, three websites to check out.

First, Little Rock Lacrosse Club. Website still needs work, but from the site, contact Rett or Lisa and they will get you started there is MUCH more available from them than is on site! They are just a new organization and the website isn't always current:

http://www.leagueathletics.com/Default.asp?snid=526142267&org=littlerocklacrosseclub

LifeCHAMPS also is bringing lacrosse to Little Rock with the help of the Little Rock Lacrosse Club. Their site:
http://www.lifechampslacrosse.com/

Finally, Episcopal Collegiate School offers summer lacrosse camps. From their home page, find the summer programs and take it from there:

Lacrosse opportunities for my Son (14 yrs.)
by: RJP - Bentonville- Rogers, AR

We're moving from Atlanta, GA and I'm looking for a good High School or "Club" Lacrosse teem in NW AR for my son. He is 14 and has been VERY involved in Lacrosse for the last 4 years.

He is currently the top Golie in his league. However, he has played Attack, Middie and Defence and has done very well at all positions.

His current coach asked him to try Goalie last year, since they were in dire need of help at that position. And after a short learning curve, Mitch has simply excelled at the position and continues to improve.

Mitch just loves to play Lacrosse. And would like to play in High School & College. But, I'm having a difficult time locating High School or Club Lacrosse programs in NW ARK.

I'm looking for Names / Contacts for good Lacrosse programs in NW ARK. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Helpp?
by: Anonymous

I'm a very athletic person, playing a lot of sports constantly, from volleyball to basketball, and I just finished a soccer camp. I'm always up to try new things, so I thought of lacrosse, but I've never played the sport before and to be honest, do not the basic rules about it either. If you can help me find a local club, it would be greatly appreciated.Oh,I'm also only 15.

Intro. to Lacrosse Summer Camp
by: Little Rock Lacrosse Club

The next youth event for the Little Rock Lacrosse Club is a summer camp at Episcopal Collegiate School that is open to boys and girls from all schools in grades K-12. The K-5 camp is the week of July 12-16 from 4-6pm, and the 6-12 camp is the week of July 19-23 from 4-6pm. The sign-up deadline has technically past, but they told me they'll still accept applications until the clinics are filled. All registration is done through ECS at 501-978-4402. Look for a lacrosse "round-robin" at War Memorial Sadium on Sunday, October 10th, 2010. We're inviting the men's and women's teams from all over AR (UofA, Hendrix, Harding) and other neighboring states (Ole Miss, Sentinary) to play. Check our rough website at LittleRockLacrosseClub.com or email LittleRockLacrosseClub@yahoo.com for more details when we have them.
