Not just speed!!

by Sean Buzzard
(Pittsburgh, Pa)

As a lacrosse coach and a speed and agility trainer-it's not really just speed that will improve your game. Really--how often can you accelerate up to full speed and maintain it on the field. It's about bursts and explosive steps--and change of direction. The slowing, stopping, planting and cutting is just as important as the speed involved. Lacrosse athletes need a full program of balance, footwork, agility, strength, and speed to improve field performance.
