The Pick Clear

by Alexus
(New Jersey, USA)

Hey, I'm a goalie for my school's freshman and JV girls lax team. I learned that if one of your players sets a pick on a player of the opposite team, it will allow another one of your teammates to get open. Also, when you get the ball you should try walking out of the crease if the attack isn't covering you. It'll give your teammates time to get ready, and if you need it, it will give you another ten seconds in the crease if you roll the ball back in (it would be best if you go around the back of the net and roll it in, it will avoid self goals). Good luck.
