NJCAA Lacrosse

NJCAA Lacrosse or National Junior College Athletic Association Lacrosse has 28 Mens and 17 Womens Lacrosse teams in Junior Colleges or JC 's located in the North Eastern USA.

JC Lacrosse provides another avenue for young student athletes to stay involved in Lacrosse and even a platform to transfer on to a larger university lacrosse program as they get into their Junior and senior years of college.

Lacrosse Instruction

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) is the governing body of intercollegiate athletics for 525 of the roughly 1656 two-year colleges In the USA.

(Two year Colleges are also known as Junior Colleges.)

Lacrosse is among the sports that are governed in this association of Junior Colleges. Unfortunately NJCAA Lacrosse is limited strictly to the North Eastern states of the USA. While this is a very nice option for Student Athlete Lacrosse players who would like to take the 2 year college route to start their post high school education, the fact that the junior college community is trailing the sport in general in the locations that is played.

While Lacrosse is spreading across the nation and world at the younger ages and even at the non varsity university level, Junior Colleges have not picked up on the sports growing popularity.

You can find more info on the NJCAA on their website: http://www.njcaa.org/index.cfm
