Lacrosse Stick Butts (end caps)

Do lacrosse sticks need buts to play in games, or can you tape it?

Answer
Tape is ok. Just make sure you cover the metal end well.

From the rule book:
Note 2: All hollow crosse handles must have their open end adequately covered with plastic, rubber or tape to prevent injury. The use of metal caps
(e.g., bottle caps) is prohibited.
