Lacrosse Tournament Invitation - U11, 13 & 15

The Inaugural Montevallo Lacrosse Classic
The University of Montevallo
Montevallo, Alabama
July 23-25, 2010

Thank you for your interest for a unique experience for boys developing in the sport of Lacrosse. In response to a growing interest for children to have an opportunity to compete against teams throughout the Southeast, the University of Montevallo has graciously agreed to a host a regional tournament. This will be a unique event where U15, U13 and U11 boys have an opportunity to develop their knowledge of lacrosse and to develop friendships with teammates and others from the southeast.

The unique aspect of this tournament is the all-encompassing location. For an individual fee of $225, each participant will receive a Friday and Saturday night stay on the campus in a dormitory. They will also receive 6 meals (Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch) The Boys will be greeted with a welcoming bag to include a tournament t-shirt and ball. During their stay, they will also be provided with swimming times, movie night and video gaming opportunities.

For each team, the
Coach and Assistant Coach will stay and eat for free. The Coaches will be staying in Ramsey Hall where all linens and towels are provided –be sure to remember your toiletries! For each additional adult, the charge is $75 per adult which includes the two overnights and the six meals. For every 5 participants on a team, at least one adult must be accompanying. For instance, a team of 20 boys must have at least four adults accompanying them and staying at the University (head coach, assistant coach and two other adults).

So, mark your calendars and pack your bags. Each boy and adult who are staying in a dorm will need to bring their own toiletries, bed linens, towels and pillow for the weekend. We look forward to seeing you in Montevallo!

The total cost of the tournament includes 2 nights of lodging (supervised by accompanying adults in college dormitories), Friday night dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch in the college cafeteria, T-shirt and ball, and the tournament activities including swimming, movie, gaming and scheduled clinics.

Tournament Check-in will be Friday July 23rd, 2010 from noon until 6 pm
Check out will be Sunday July 25th, 2010 by 5 pm.
