What does RPI stand for when rating men's lacrosse?


ANSWER RPI stands for "Ratings Percentage Index" and is a term and system used by the NCAA for years in other sports like Basketball to help them rank schools for tournament placement. Rankings are based on a number of factors and statistics to help the selection committee's determine which teams deserve to be ranked where in the tournament seedings.
