Metro Area Box Lacrosse League Hosts FREE Youth and HS Clinic

Chantilly, VA, Feburary 20, 2012: The Metro Area Box Lacrosse League (MABLL), has announced its FREE Youth and High School Box Lacrosse Clinic which will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 7:00pm. The clinic will be held as part of MABLL’s Championship Night in between its Senior A and Senior B Championship games. The MABLL home arena is The BOX which is located in Chantilly, VA near Dulles Airport.

The purpose of the FREE Clinic is to announce the MABLL Academy which will launch a full slate of youth box lacrosse development and competition programs in June, 2012. MABLL Director Marty Joyner comments, “Our league has been in the DC area for over 35 years. We have decided to re-launch our youth programs to meet the demand and interest of properly taught box lacrosse”. The league last ran youth and high school box lacrosse in 2002.

The MABLL Academy will offer box lacrosse instructional and competitive programs for players from 5-17 and will continue to offer it’s already strong competitive senior leagues for players over the age of 18. Divisions offered will be U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U18 and will feature a summer-ending trip for league all-stars to Huntington Beach, California for the American Box Lacrosse Association National Championships in August.
