Trenches

by Jason
(New York)

You split your middies and attacks into 2 lines. The line leaders lay face down. Then the coach or whoever throws a ball downfield and says "go." The two players who are laying face down should not move, should not look up until the coach says go. Upon hearing "go," they rise, and search for the ball, battle for it, and bring it back to the line.

It teaches ground ball, possession, defense, and awareness
